There is no way that my wife and I could ever fully express our gratitude for Alyssa and the journey that we have shared together. From the very first phone call, Alyssa demonstrated so much compassion and empathy for our child and what she was going through. We had reached out to several other potential providers, but Alyssa's genuine care shined through immediately.
Over the past year, Alyssa has helped our daughter, and us, navigate eating disorders (anorexia), issues with body image, depression, anxiety, self-harm, and so much more. Alyssa is so much more than a nutritionist, she is a nutrition therapist, a trusted ally, and a friend. Her intuition, insights, and depth of knowledge are beyond comprehension and yet she does it all with such grace and ease. It is truly amazing.
We can not recommend Alyssa enough! We've loved every minute of working with her and know that you and your loved ones will too!

Working with Alyssa has changed my life in more ways than a testimony could express. Food was my world. It was what I focused on from the time I woke up to when I went to sleep. I would spend my days on the merry go round of binging and depriving myself which led my down very dark paths of depression, guilt, and shame. Alyssa became someone I looked forward to talking with every week as she was someone I felt finally understood me. She helped me to feel normal and brought me some hope to make it through this cycle I never thought would end. Alyssa teaches compassion. Alyssa teaches us what we make sense. As life has continued and thrown its curve balls, falling back into hold habits is a knee jerk reaction but Alyssa has given me the tools to recognize it and prevent it from happening before taking that path. She has rewritten what my days look like and for that I am oh so thankful. If you’re here reading about Alyssa, please go for it. She is not like anything else you’ve touched. She isn’t a “plan, a quick fix, or another diet.” She is patiently and lovingly ready to help you rewrite this struggle area.

I came to Alyssa completely broken in my relationship with food. I had run several marathons and even coach in a cross training gym. I had used a nutrition coach for marathon training and loved the structure, but I wasn’t able to keep that up. I had taken a break from it and tried to go back to her several times to get back on track and I failed time and time again. I can tell anyone how to eat *** and how that will give you the body you think you want. However, I was so stuck on failure within myself that I’d end up binging on ***. I would hide things from my family so I didn’t feel shame eating in front of them. I didn’t look as if I had an over-eating problem, but it consumed my life. Alyssa gave me small goals weekly to focus on, tools to help in emergencies or when I just didn’t have it all planned out. She helped me see why I had developed such bad eating habits over the years, work, kids, family, etc. and how I could easily take my life back and be free from the regret of eating an ice cream sundae. My experience with Alyssa was completely different from the other nutritionist in the fact that I was taught how to manage my relationship with food, not just a list of what you should and should not eat.
