Who we are
At Passionate Portions, Inc., your privacy is of extreme importance. We deeply value your trust and confidence when you visit our website. You should know that we are not interested in or in the business of selling, renting, or trading our email lists with any other company or business for marketing purposes. That’s sketchy, and I don’t like shady business. In case you want to read more details on this, this Privacy Policy will outline the details and information of why and how we collect, use, and potentially may disclose it to others. If you’re up for some hefty reading, grab a cup of coffee and read on.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Advertisements
Passionate Portions Inc. advertises on Facebook in an effort to help get our information, products, and services in front of those people who want help with their nutrition and wellness. This website uses Facebook Ads conversion tracking (AKA Facebook pixel). This is an analytical service provided by Facebook, Inc. that we use to help us know if our advertisements are working to attract the right audience instead of being a nuisance. Pixel is provided by Facebook, Inc. to connect actions performed on this website to data from the Facebook advertising network to calculate conversions on ads from Facebook, Instagram, and Audience Network.
Third parties, including Facebook, may use cookies, web beacons, or other storage technologies to collect or receive information from this website to analyze your purchase behavior on our site and elsewhere on the internet. This information is then used to provide measurement services and target ads.
You may opt-out of this collection and use of information for ad targeting by visiting http://www.aboutads.info/choices or https://datacloudoptout.oracle.com.

Analytics
We use Google Analytics to help us run this website the best way possible, such as finding out how many people visit, when and where they visit from, and what they do on the site. When you visit www.passionateportions.com or www.alyssaashmore.com, Google Analytics will collect your standard internet login information and details about your visit patterns to form this data. This information does not identify you.
Mailing lists
We collect information for our mailing lists and newsletter. The information requested is kept to the minimum necessity. We collect this information to give you the resources you request through sign-up forms and opt-ins, to contact you if we need to provide or request additional information, and to check in occasionally to see if I can serve you any better. We would never rent, trade, or sell your email to another organization or business.
We use an outside provider, ConvertKit, to send our emails, freebies, and newsletters. ConvertKit obtains information such as emails opened and links clicked to help us monitor and improve our emails, offerings, and newsletters. Your data
Who we share your data with
We will never use or share your personal information to send you spam or unrelated offers. (Remember, we don’t like shady business.) We may share your information with the companies we use to manage our checkout, credit card processing, analytical, and email systems.
We may transfer your information due to any reorganization, restructuring, merger, sale, or other transfer of assets. We reserve the right to transfer our information, including your personal information, provided that the receiving party agrees to respect your personal information in a manner that is consistent with our Privacy Policy.
On certain occasions, we may need to share your personal information in accordance with legal obligations.
Your data will be shared with the organizations and tools listed above in the cookie policy.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where we send your data
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

What data breach procedures we have in place
If a data breach ever occurs, we will notify you via email as soon as possible, including what information may have been compromised, how we corrected the breach, and how to protect yourself moving forward.
What third parties we receive data from
If you make a purchase through any of the programs we are affiliates for, we will receive an email notification of the sale, which may include personal information about you, such as your name or email address. We keep this information private and will not share it with anyone.
